Fake Putin’s daughter: American tabloid mistook State Duma deputy for president’s daughter

The American magazine westsidepeoplemag.com called Russian State Duma deputy Maria Butina the daughter of President Vladimir Putin.

The magazine wrote the news that the United States is taking additional measures to increase economic pressure on Russia and President Vladimir Putin after shocking photos from the Ukrainian city of Bucha. New penalties imposed on Putin’s adult daughters.

The administration is also imposing full opposition sanctions on a new batch of Russian elites and their family members, including Putin’s adult daughters Maria Butina and Katerina Tikhonova, the wife and daughter of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and members of Russia’s Security Council, including the former president and prime minister.

The authors did not bother to check the information in the material – State Duma deputy Maria Butina was among the daughters of the President of Russia.

“Fakes or stupid illiteracy of Western journalists: “I became ”Putin’s daughter,” Butina commented on her “new status”.
